<p><img style="float: right;" src="http://myglendon.yorku.ca/tinymce/jscripts/tiny_mce/plugins/imagemanager/files/20110303/vday_poster.jpg" alt="" width="222" height="287" />The Vagina Monologues -&nbsp; A Memory, A Monologue, A Rant and A Prayeris the annual event performed by Glendon students, organized by the Glendon Women and Trans&rsquo; Centre.<br /><br />V-Day monologues are put on by interested students who volunteer as monologists and produce the benefit performances to raise awareness and funds for anti-violence groups within our communities. Tickets are priced for $5 and will be sold shortly.<br /><br />This year&rsquo;s proceeds will be going to the women and girls of Haiti, and to our community organization, the December 6th Fund (for more information, please see: <a href="http://www.vday.org/home and http://www.dec6fund.ca/" target="_blank">http://www.vday.org/home and http://www.dec6fund.ca/</a>).<br /><br />In 2010, over 5,400 V-Day benefit events took place, produced by volunteer activists in the U.S. and around the world, educating millions of people about the reality of violence against women and girls.<br /><br />Please join us this Monday March 7th 2011 at 7 PM at the Glendon Theatre for an evening of breath-taking performances.<br /><br />For more information, or to order&nbsp; tickets priced at $5, please contact the Glendon Women and Trans Centre at <a href="mailto:glendonwtc@gmail.com">glendonwtc@gmail.com</a>.</p>
