Glendon Model United Nations (GMUN) is pleased to present Fashion Show 2009, a showcase of young contemporary fashion from around the world. The show will take place on Thursday March 26th from 7-9pm in the Glendon Theatre.
This annual fashion show will feature modern multiculturalism—this year themed around major international cities, both emerging and established international centres of the world. The project is completely student-run and aims to reach the entire Glendon community, celebrating and promoting diversity and expression.
Currently, organizers are seeking help in a number of areas. Models and volunteer staff are both needed in weeks leading up to the show and on the day of the event. Auditions will be held at the end of February for models. Clothing donations or loans from local boutiques and retailers would be greatly appreciated. Any sponsorships or financial contributions are also welcome.
If you are interested in being involved, or for more information, please contact Krystle Henry or Alexandra Ross at firstname.lastname@example.org. Information is also posted on facebook event page, Fashion Show 09.
All proceeds will go directly to GMUN to help delegates fund conferences. Tickets will be on sale during the two weeks prior to the show. We look forward to seeing you there!
